Environment Canada has issued a winter weather travel advisory for Monday with 5-10 cm on the way.

Halton Police catch the Grinch!

Halton Police say they’ve caught the Grinch! They started looking for a porch pirate in November, and on Friday tracked him down. He was nabbed with hundreds of items of stolen Christmas loot including gifts, ornaments and Christmas trees. He also had a sled alleged to have been used to transport the stolen goods. It seems his ultimate plan to “steal Christmas” has been thwarted!

Latest Trump Target: Panama Canal

Donald Trump suggested Sunday that his new administration could try to regain control of the Panama Canal that the United States “foolishly” ceded to its Central American ally, contending that shippers are charged “ridiculous” fees to pass through the vital transportation channel linking the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

King Charles to continue cancer treatment

Word emerged Friday Charles, who was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer early this year, will carry on with his treatment in 2025. It's been a difficult year for the Royals as Charles and Catherine, Princess of Wales were both diagnosed with cancer.

New definition for “healthy”

The Food and Drug Administration in the United States has updated its rules around what allows a food manufacturer to claim a product is “healthy”.  To claim a product is healthy it must have a certain amount of food from a recommended food group and stick to certain limits for saturated fat, added sugar and sodium.
